TITLES!

Why is a woman's marital status everyone's business? Our Titles 'Miss.' and 'Mrs.' have been designated to us according to our availability and our association with the man who is taking care of us. (Miss: of father, Mrs.: of husband). The title Ms. was an attempt to get rid of the two titles, end that association and make it more equivalent to 'Mr.' but well...it just got added to the list, like an after thought for all women treated as leftovers (older, unmarried, divorced, lesbians etc.)
